Healing Hearts with Art is a community-driven initiative supported by local artists and volunteers committed to promoting well-being through creative expression. The project is supported by a grant from the Louisiana Division of the Arts, Office of Cultural Development, Department of Culture, Recreation and Tourism, in cooperation with the Louisiana State Arts Council, as administered by the St Tammany Commission on Cultural Affairs. Funding has also been provided by the National Endowment for the Arts.
MEET THE INSTRUCTOR:
Elaine DeSmith is a retired librarian / software trainer / math teacher, and a lifelong reader / writer / editor. She is offering this workshop not to tell you how she “did it good,” but to share some things that she has experienced and learned about writing, and to give you a chance to play along. |
