Listed below are a variety of ways volunteers can help our non-profit organization.
INTERNS (virtual options are available): The Women's Center provides unpaid internships to college students in the fields of study of counseling/social work, business, marketing, philanthropy, or other degrees related to non-profit organizations. We work with many colleges and universities to provide college credit for internships. Internships are also open to those in need of work experience, work references and letters of recommendation. Current Volunteer Positions Available
Data Entry: Tech-savvy individuals can help our organization with updating our database and other records. Could be an at-home opportunity.
Event Volunteers: Assist with representing the Center at outreach fairs and with registration and hospitality at fundraisers.
Committee Members: Volunteer to serve on a committee. Several committees are already working on various projects and would benefit from the expertise of more members. Contact us to find out how your areas of interest can best fit in with our committee openings.
Library Assistants: Our library serves the community with literary resources for women. We host a large collection of books by female authors. Assist with arranging and categorizing books
Blessings Box Volunteer: Volunteers can stop by the blessings box, check and dispose of expired food, clean the box, and donate food items, if able.
