Women Build is an annual project in which Habitat for Humanity St. Tammany West empowers women to build homes, enabling them to positively impact the lives of local families by making home ownership a reality. Last year in western St. Tammany, over 350 volunteers contributed 3,000 volunteer hours during October to help build three homes in Covington!

The Women's Center has signed up again this year to help and we hope you'll join our team! We'll be working at a Mandeville location to be announced. Participation is $30 per volunteer to be a builder - this is Habitat's bi-annual fundraiser.

Join with us to support Habitat for Humanity! Participate as a volunteer builder OR as a Sponsor.

Can't volunteer but want to help Women Build? Two ways to participate:

Sponsor a Woman Builder:
Donate $30 or more so we can send a volunteer who can't afford to donate, and you will be her sponsor!  Let us know if you'll sponsor someone in particular, or we will match you to a builder.

Help us sponsor a Family Home!
If we raise $300 for Habitat, the Women's Center can sponsor a home! This helps a family AND the Women's Center name is on the sign on the house, on the Habitat website, and more!  We will name you as a sponsor on our website.
