A Women’s Dance in Celebration of the Full Moon AND Winter Solstice

What better time for celebrating and ritual-making than these two important celestial events? Come dance the moment in a supportive circle.
The energy of the deep feminine is especially present at the Winter Solstice when the darkness is velvety and palpable.Tapping into the energy of the solstice, we let go of what no longer serves and reach into the still and quiet Mystery to bring forth what we wish to manifest.
The full moon in Cancer invites us to honor the depth and breadth of our emotions and to acknowledge gratefully what we consider to be our home.
Come, dance barefoot and free-form, letting your body move as it wants.
You are welcome if you are a newcomer to dancing or a long-time dancer. You are welcome if you feel awkward or self-conscious or if you are totally confident dancing.
The music starts slowly then builds, then slows again at the end. No particular dance skill or knowledge of steps is needed. Just bring willingness and curiosity, allowing the movement to nourish and bring you more fully to your senses.
