The powerful, intuitive feminine is urgently needed now in this present era in which separation, exploitation and consumerism are destroying the planet and the fabric of life. She knows what is needed, and is sounding a wake up call. It is time for courageously claiming our full creative power and to bring this power to bear in changing the world.
Find Your Gift/Find Your Super Power
Each of us has a relationship to the deep feminine which is universal and archetypal, yet the energy expresses personally through our unique gifts and abilities. With support, you will identify your gifts and special abilities. They may be familiar, yet taken for granted. In claiming ownership of your unique talents, you can begin to let them coalesce into a personification, such as a goddess, heroine, healer, trickster or messenger who has a role to play in these troubled and transformational times. This personified medicine woman carries an aspect of your essence, and is born of your deepest self, yet she has her own distinct personality. It is possible she has been there all along in the core of your being and is ready to emerge intact now.
The Process of Revelation
To help reveal your particular personification, you will be led in a process of inquiry with directed questions and processes to help reveal who she is and what she is about. You may encounter several manifestations of your super powers. To start, we will focus on one of them. Your super power will need a name, one that does full justice to her or its unique abilities. (It may have any or no gender, but will be referred to here as “she”) We will engage in a process of naming this emerging, larger than life being to begin to substantiate her. Meeting this expression of your higher/deeper self can be quite meaningful, yet it may make your ego-personality squirmy. That would be a good sign. It should be a stretch.
Dimension and Substance
During the retreat, you will have the opportunity to develop this personification, letting her speak to you about likes and dislikes, her particular look, mode of operating, her mythic story and sacred mission. We will use a range of expressive modalities, including writing, art and music in the context of a supportive group to deepen her dimensionality and substance. You will find that she comes through with her own voice. No two personifications are the same. Their powers may range from the worldly to the etheric, from the local to the planetary and beyond.
You will have opportunities to embody her through movement and enactment in a safe ritual space. Breath work will support an opening to a full sense of embodied aliveness.
Your Super Power will claim her seat on the Council of the Divine Feminine. She will let you know how to use her in service of your own healing and empowering. She will also let you know how you can serve to further her sacred mission in the world. A relationship will develop.
Own Your Power/Meet Resistance
Naming and claiming a powerful aspect of oneself can evoke reactions such as fear, denial or self-judgment. This reactive aspect can also be personified. Identifying the reactive character can help bring awareness to what holds you and your Super Power back from achieving her mission. She is not invested in your old stories of shame and inadequacy, and may have skillful means of helping release what no longer serves.
You Will Leave With
A powerful resource in the felt connection to your Super Power: with access to her strengths, perspective and heightened abilities that you can tap at any time. You will find it easier to access a place of inner authority, compassion or ancient wisdom. This may show in your gait and bearing. You will feel a part of a community of emissaries of the sacred feminine dedicated to bringing their best gifts to the world. You will have this new relationship of the heart and soul, a conversation which you can continue to deepen through on-going communication.

Patricia Stout, LCSW, BACS is a holistic social worker and clinical supervisor dedicated to wellness, emotional intelligence and consciousness-raising towards a cultural paradigm shift. She offers individual and group holistic psychotherapy for women, along with workshops, meditation classes, and retreats. Certified through Eupsychia Institute for Well-Being with Jacquelyn Small in Psycho-Spiritual Integration and Integrative Breathwork, Patricia facilitates the Breathwork experience, since 1991, to address a range of issues from compulsive behaviors to environmental concerns. It is her dream to create loving community and to deepen women's spiritual and personal growth for the greater good.
