Kundalini Yoga with Sally Dunn

Picture
Thursdays
4:30 - 5:30 pm

Kundalini Yoga is an active form of meditation using postures, breath and mantras. It is a yoga that practices meditation and movement to achieve a sense of spiritual, emotional and physical well-being. It is easy and fun. Students leave with a feeling of happiness and peace.

Kundalini is a special kind of energy. It is said to exist within the earth, within all life, and within each person. Kundalini is always with us. Like a river, it carries us along. Once the kundalini rises, it triggers energy gates (chakras) throughout the body. As the kundalini energy pours into and activates each of the seven major gates, symptoms relating to the action of that chakra and shamanic abilities associated with each energy center emerge. Handling powerful kundalini energies is easier if the nervous system is strong. The wise woman nourishes and strengthens the nervous system. Kundalini Yoga will give you the tools to balance your nervous system, cleanse the blood and nourish the glandular system.

Join certified KRI instructor Sally Dunn for class and leave with a sense of well being, a calm and equanimous mind and a compassionate heart. Sally has studied under the late Yogi Bhajan for Kundalini yoga, Khentrul Rinpoche in the practice of Dharma, the late S.N. Goenka in the practice of Vipassana meditation and Dr. Hew Len in the practice of SITH.
