Suffer Less – Weekly Mindfulness Practice

Tuesday evenings
November 7 - December 12, 2023
6:30 - 8:00 pm
at the Women's Center
Led by Diana Klein, Meditation Teacher & Life Coach
Come learn and practice mindfulness teachings that make space for difficulty and cultivate ease and joy! Join in discussion and practice in community—all with a spirit of tenderness, levity, and curiosity. Each 90-minute class will include a short talk, multiple guided meditations, sharing, and a question-and-answer period. Specific topics will vary from week to week. Come to one or all six. Prior registration is appreciated.
These classes owe a debt to the Vipassana practices of Theravada Buddhism, however they are non-religious, and draw from various wisdom traditions. This class is open to all levels of experience and to all women.
Suggested cost: $20 per weekly class (pay-as-able option available)
OR
Discounted rate of $90 when you pre-register for all six classes.

ABOUT THE PRESENTER
Diana Klein holds a B.A. in psychology from Marist College. She earned certification as a mindfulness meditation teacher through MMTCP, led by Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield and as a coach through Martha Beck's ICF-accredited Wayfinder Life Coach Training Program.
Diana has studied spiritual practices and psychology for over 20 years. During the last decade, mindfulness has played an invaluable role in her life, not only in expanding everyday joy, but also in responding skillfully to multiple life-changing illnesses, including CFS, endometriosis, skin and ovarian cancers, and depression. She teaches mindfulness in the hopes of sharing this understanding and freedom. She began coaching because she loves working 1:1 with people who need a safe space to explore their thoughts and feelings, freeing them to make their best and truest contributions to the world!
