- Who We Are
Strength-Building for Older Women

Thursday mornings
10:00 - 11:00 am
Held in person at the Women's Center
Strengthening Exercises taught by Virginia Davis, RN, LMT
We've all read about the benefits of strength conditioning for older bodies: building muscle mass, defending against osteoporosis through increased bone density, improving balance and stability, and so much more.
We know we'd like to incorporate strengthening exercises into our routines, but many of us need the guidance of a teacher to begin. Join Virginia to learn safe ways of adding strength training to your self-care regimen.
What to bring: Please bring a mat, resistance bands and lightweight dumbells if you have them.
