Group Nature Earth Mandala
Share & Drum
Gather 2:30 pm
Commence 2:45 pm-4:45 pm
For this Spring Equinox, we invite you to join us in constructing a group compostable Earth/Nature Mandala on the side lawn at the Women’s Center. (Weather permitting, otherwise inside in great room)
You are encouraged to bring pine cones, leaves, flowers, grasses, and pine straw collected from your yard, woods or field. After constructing the mandala, there will be time for sharing and drumming. So, please, bring your wise and playful Spirit- and a lawn chair- and help WELCOME SPRING to Our Community on the Northshore!
According to Wild Roots Studio, “ We find circles in the cycles of the celestial orbits of the sun, moon and earth, in the seasons….. Native Americans have all used mandalas as a way to create sacred space, to make prayers, give thanks and find our place in the cosmos.
We create Nature Mandalas as a way to connect to ourselves and to Mother Earth.”
Love donations to the Women’s Center are welcome, and allow opportunities like this to continue to exist.
