Hi everyone! You are invited to attend a Covid-safe outdoor gathering (in shifts from 4:00 to 6:30) for Women’s Center folks who would like to say goodbye to Patricia as she moves to Texas and to wish her Happy Birthday! (Actual birthday 3/31/64)
Address: 71667 Leveson St. - outdoors in the side yard
So how do you have a party during Covid? Limit number of people in the yard at one time, practice strict guidelines of social distance AND masks, and enjoy! Your presence truly becomes the present, for both of you. Please stop by for a spell and say hello, see old WCHT friends or make new. We are trying to stagger it so not too many people come all at once.
Optional Gift ideas: Perhaps bring something to place into a scrap book: 8.5 x 11 (half or whole sheet) of your memories with Patricia to present to her. Can be pictures, doodles, a limerick--whatever! Remember to leave room for the three-hole punch. And/or a gift to her favorite charity is always appreciated. At this link:

(We can show you how to do one for your birthday too!)

Covid Notes: This gathering will continue to use Covid precautions even though some people have been vaccinated. "Mask on at all times" means no food or drinks while near others. Remember 6 feet is the guideline. The building will not be open. We will provide hand sanitizer and some chairs; bring your own chair if you prefer. Adults only this time please. (There is a park nearby for parents to tag-team with kiddos.)
Friends outside of the Women’s Center? If you are a church or sangha friend of Patricia or a friend of Johnny’s, feel free to contact Patricia for a possible separate time to meet --so we don’t get all bunched up at one time. (985) 264-8089.

Patricia and husband Johnny move to Texas at an exciting time in the life of their family! Pictured here at their son's wedding.

For those new to the Women’s Center for Healing & Transformation, Patricia was the catalyst for founding the center, channeling the vision in 2012, opening it with others in January 2013, and serving as a volunteer acting director until end of 2020. She now serves as a member of the leadership council via Zoom and is a Vision Keeper. She is delighted that every one of you is involved in making this dream a reality!
This is her last planned visit to Louisiana since her move to Texas earlier this month.
This will always be a community that she has roots in and will return to.

About the Drum Circle: Whether or not you come by for the open garden, any and all women are invited to come to the Full Moon Drum Circle! Space limited to first 20 to register. Details and link below.
Starting at 7:00 pm, outside with the full moon rising shortly, we'll gather in simple ceremony with a talking circle to set our intentions, drumming, singing, and moments of silence, to honor the moon - the intuitive, reflective, symbol of the dream-time, shining light into otherwise dark places. Let the rhythm of the drum create space between the busy thoughts of daily life, making room for the sacred and the mystery of the new and unknown.
In the tradition of women’s wisdom circles, we are all equal in the circle, and each woman brings her own gifts and circle/moon teachings to be heard, or coming just to listen is a gift as well.
Women only at the Drum Circle, please.
