Nia Jam!

Picture
Saturday, July 22
11:30 am - 2:00 pm
Nia is a movement practice—a fun, creative way to health, combining the dance arts, healing arts, and martial arts. Based on the idea that movement is the medicine of life, Nia is a fun, creative pathway to health. While Nia reduces stress, it brings a sense of relaxation and dynamic ease after just one class.  Nia puts Joy back into fitness, and is adaptable to all ages and abilities.

Come check it out!  There will be four different teachers in one class:  Carolyn Burns from Abita Springs, Josh Berthelot form Hattiesburg, Elizabeth Hall from Meridian, and Caitlin Glass from New Orleans.  We will dance together and then enjoy each other’s company during a potluck afterwards.
Women and men welcome!  All experience levels welcome!
Never danced before???  You are welcome!
And you will start learning Nia’s fundamentals right away.

Please bring some food to share for the potluck.
