THIS PROGRAM WILL BE HELD ON ZOOM
Every generation experiences historical and social events that influence their values as a whole. We will explore the characteristics and values of each generation to become more aware of the origins of one another's differences. During this training we will discuss how to best serve clients/patients from each generation and review the facets of a multi-generational workplace.

Learning objectives of this workshop:
  • Attendee will understand the characteristics of different generations and their values.
  • Attendee will explore how to effectively provide services and communicate with clients/patients from each generation.
  • Attendee will learn how to navigate the barriers and identify the benefits of the multi-generational workplace.

ABOUT THE PRESENTER
Picture
Amy R. Fairchild, LCSW, works for the Tangipahoa Parish School System working with special education students at risk of expulsion due to severe behaviors. Prior to working in the school system, Amy worked with DCFS in child protection and at North Oaks Rehabilitation Hospital.  Amy has worked with children and families since 2003 and has received formal training in the areas of Attachment, Adoption, Trauma-Informed Practices, and Early Childhood Mental Health. Amy is a certified ACEs Educator and a TBRI Practitioner. She received her BSW from USM and her MSW from LSU.
