Mandala Meditation

Picture
Saturday, June 1
10:00 - 11:30 am

Presented by Brenda Kelly, Owner of Yoga Blossom, LLC

No artistic ability required! Express yourself with this creative workshop. Learn some simple techniques to create unique mandalas.

A mandala is an abstract design, usually in the form of a circle; beginning at a center point and working out. In Sanskrit the word “mandala” means “circle”. A mandala can take on many geometric and organic shapes. The best part about creating your own mandala is the freedom to choose your design... to pull ideas and symbols from deep within and bring them out and onto paper. The possible designs that you create are as infinite as the universe.

Drawing mandalas is a fantastic form of meditation. It helps to increase self-awareness; and for many is a spiritual practice.
