Krewe of Butterfly – Planning Meeting
It's that time again! The Krewe of Butterfly strolls again!
Planning Meeting: January 5 at 6:00 - 9:00 pm
Register with the Women's Center by December 12
Here's the Buzz (or flutter, as the case may be). Mardi Gras comes early this year and Push Mow will roll on February 4 at 2:00 pm. Let's get organized!
Push Mow Theme: Bizarre Broadway Shows
Register with the Women’s Center by December 12 and plan to attend our Initial Group Planning and Costume Support meeting: January 5 from 6:00-9:00 pm at the Center. Potluck gathering.
Important: Entering the Krewe comes with a cost. Since the Women's Center does not have this cost in their budget, we think it is fair to share the cost. The Town charges for groups by the number of walkers, trucks, wagons and bikes, etc. Then there is the cost of the decorations. We estimate there will be between 10-15 of us in our Krewe and we will have a truck for people and throws. We are asking $20 for the participation fee. (If you want to ride your bike <$10> or bring a wagon <$20>, you will pay that cost individually as it is not factored into this group cost.) You can pay online at www.womenscenterforhealing.org and put in the note, "Krewe of Butterfly" - or pay it on the registration form when you sign up.
We'd like to know ASAP how many of us will be participating so that we can register and plan, so... - ALL ARE WELCOME - INCLUDING YOUR CHILDREN OR MEN FOLK.
Note: We are looking at an interesting moving butterfly option some walkers may want to make. Carolyn will send the video out to all those who confirm their participation. Participants can help in naming our Bizarre Broadway Show. Please call Carolyn for more information - 985-705-3395 - or just register and you will be contacted about next steps.
