ABOUT THE PRESENTER
My name is Kaylie Poole and I am a BEST certified doula, postpartum doula, childbirth educator, and placenta specialist. I grew up in Mandeville, Louisiana and my passion for birth started when I became pregnant with my daughter, Kaia. I had a complicated pregnancy and my birth did not go the way I intended it to - I was not informed, nor empowered to advocate for myself, and had no guidance from my providers. I did not realize I had options until it was too late. This experience sparked my passion- I knew I wanted to empower and support other women throughout their pregnancy, labor, and postpartum journey.
