A Delicious and Fun Group Dance Experience that Nurtures the Body, Mind, Heart and Soul!

A good workout, a lot of fun, and a wonderful way to connect as a community, Groove Dance requires NO DANCE EXPERIENCE!

Groove is intended for everybody to explore their own way to move. With no difficult steps to learn, the focus is on enjoying the feeling of moving to music and being part of a joyful and accepting community.

All ages, all body types, all fitness levels are welcome!

For information about Groove Dance, see the three-minute informational video by its originator, Misty Tripoli--https://www.bodygroove.com.

PictureJanet Pivnick
From Instructor Janet Pivnick: I have enjoyed dancing all my life. Nearly a decade ago, with frequent back pain and a lifestyle that involved too much sitting, I knew that I couldn’t return to the dance classes that my younger body could manage.

That’s when I discovered and fell in love with Groove. I started teaching Groove last year when we all found ourselves in lockdown. I love the transformation that I see in students – the release of aches and pains, the confidence in their bodies, the joy of having an opportunity to be playful. I will be zooming in from Vancouver, Canada and look forward to sharing the joy of Groove with you.

Cost:
Suggested fee is $5 to $8 per class.
