Join the Women’s Center and Black Women DO Heal in an 8-week Group as we explore the transformative work, White Women: Everything You Already Know About Your Own Racism and How to Do Better by Regina Jackson and Saira Rao. This invitation-only event will provide a safe, healing space as women come together to discuss barriers to racial healing among us and discuss ways we can heal and grow together in love and unity.
LOCATION in Lacombe ; mostly in person with some online option.
You may be asking yourself, is this a space for me? (How do I get invited?)
Here are a few considerations:
Do you believe that your healing and that of your community is tied to the healing of other communities?
Have you been reading and soul-searching on racial healing yet do not have the safe space needed to engage with other races?
Are you a woman who believes that we can do great things when we come together?
Are you tired of feeling alone or isolated in racial healing work?
If you answered YES to any of these questions, then this is a series you do not want to miss!
We as women ARE powerful, beautiful, strong, and BRAVE.
When we make a decision to do something IT GETS DONE! We have the power to bring healing to ourselves and our communities as we make the choice to come together and have uncomfortable, healing conversations. Let’s stretch out of these comfort zones and into effectual healing.
Group Size Limited; Take Action Now.
