Common Ground Circle: An Exercise in Civil Discourse
Wednesday evenings
October 7, 14, 21, 28; November 11 and 18
6:00 - 7:30 pm
PLEASE NOTE: This group is now underway and closed to new registrants. If interested in participating in a similar group when scheduled, please email us to place your name on a waiting list to be contacted.
We are living in polarizing times and there is a growing fear of differences. Do you want to find common ground with people who may think differently than you? Do you want to move past assumptions and fears and engage in safe conversation? Are you willing to come with an open heart and open ears to listen, learn, and build relationships?
Common Ground Circle is a group that looks to attract people with diverse perspectives. We seek to engage in conversation that will help us find shared opportunity and remove barriers. A conversation that helps people to live peacefully together in civil society, even if they disagree with one another.
Women only. Meeting on Zoom.
Facilitated by Jessica Stechmann and Anitra Senegal, a Distinguished Fellow of the Nancy M. Marsiglia Institute of Justice.
