Basics of Sexual Abuse Awareness
This presentation will provide basic information regarding awareness and prevention of sexual abuse. Childhood sexual abuse and its presentation in adulthood will be discussed. Steps to protect vulnerable populations will be examined as well as resources to gain more knowledge.

- Sexual abuse of children and other vulnerable populations will be defined.
- Attendee will identify indicators associated with sexual abuse/assault survivors.
- Attendee will discuss when a referral or mandated report is appropriate and/or necessary and how to make such a report
