What to expect at this seminar:
  • A brief overview of theory, development of DBT skills and general knowledge of the four DBT modules.
  • Learn basic mindfulness skills, how to find wise mind, and how to utilize with clients.
  • Learn skills to teach clients to help regulate extreme emotions.
  • Learn to communicate to clients the function of emotions and situations when it would be helpful to change emotions.
  • Learn how to help clients prioritize goals in interpersonal interactions to help maximize potential of meeting goals.
 workshop is a training event and open to male and female attendees. Open to mental health professionals and the general public.
