REGISTER
Brainspotting is currently one of the fastest growing brain-body therapies in the world. In this presentation you learn the fundamentals of Brainspotting, conceptualize trauma and treatment goals from a brain-body framework, and observe a live demonstration of Brainspotting techniques.  

Upon completion of this course, participants will:
  • Understand trauma from a neurophysiological perspective
  • Learn the basics of Brainspotting and its use of relevant eye positions
  • Understand the treatment goals of Brainspotting

ABOUT THE PRESENTER
Picture
Emily Moïse-Fontenot is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Supervisor. Emily was employed at Southeastern Louisiana University as a therapist and Assistant Director of the University Counseling Center for 9 years. She is currently the owner of Rewired, an agency specializing in trauma treatment and Brainspotting in Hammond, Louisiana. Emily has over a decade of supervision, consultation, and trauma-informed experience.

Emily began her training in Brainspotting in 2017. She has completed Phases 1-4 (multiple times), an intensive and Limbic Counter-transference. She is a certified Brainspotting Practitioner and Consultant. Emily is also the President of the Southeast Brainspotting Institute. 
​
Emily works from an integrative, brain-body approach. She has received extensive training in TF-CBT therapy, Trauma-Informed Mindfulness, DBT, EMDR, and art therapies. She enjoys working with complex trauma, personality adaptations, emotional dysregulation and dissociation from Psychodynamic and parts perspective.
