PLEASE NOTE: POSTPONED DUE TO THREAT OF SEVERE WEATHER - A NEW DATE WILL BE ANNOUNCED SOON.

Your food donations are still very much needed and appreciated and may be dropped off at the Women's Center instead of St. Michael's Saturday between 12:00 and 4:00 pm. The Women's Center is located at 71667 Leveson St. in Abita Springs.

Benefiting the Northshore Food Bank

The Women’s Center will host the 2nd Annual "Labyrinth of Giving" on Saturday, December 11 at St. Michael's Episcopal Church, 4499 Sharp Road in Mandeville (map)

Walking a labyrinth is an ancient spiritual practice used for prayer, reflection and meditation. As we reflect on this past year and the many difficulties experienced by our friends, family and neighbors, we want to help. Collections of canned goods will take place from November 10 - December 10 at the Women's Center (donation bin on front porch). Most needed items are listed below. You may also bring your donation to the Labyrinth walk.

On Saturday, December 11, the collected cans will be used to construct a labyrinth at St. Michael's Episcopal Church on Sharp Road in Mandeville. The labyrinth will be open to everyone to walk any time between 12:00 - 4:00 pm. Bring a donation item and walk the labyrinth.

The donations will be boxed and delivered to Northshore Food Bank. Northshore Food Bank serves residents of St. Tammany and Washington Parishes.
