Women's Spring Retreat: Re-Source ~ Re-Member

Friday - Sunday
April 1 - 3, 2022
Spring Retreat for Women at the Women's Center
Deep inside each of us is a well from which we draw inspiration and nourishment. We have inherent resources or strengths, those that are already ours, and sometimes we must develop resources because of life circumstances. No matter if they are earned, learned or already ours, it can be too easy to forget the support we have, and to lose a sense of what’s on tap.
Emerging from the isolation, losses and frustrations of the pandemic, your heart, mind and body may be longing for peace and balance. For some, healing comes in the form of renewed connection with other human beings as we share grief, worries or laughter. A loving community is certainly an external resource.
Healing may also involve moments of self-awareness, like when you notice you’re running on auto-pilot in a forward tilt. At that moment you can choose to be present and how you want to move.
It’s time for a re-set! In this 3-day retreat we will practice ways to restore those vital connections, opening pathways to deeper sources of strength, healing and inspiration.
While it is human to lose that connection amidst the many distractions and demands for our attention, we are deeper and have more access to our resources than we thought. Come join us in remembering and celebrating your precious resources, your gifts to the world.

The retreat will include a range of healing modalities and embodied practices such as expressive art, movement, dance, meditation, family constellations practices and visualization. We create a container that supports vulnerability, emotional safety, curiosity, trust and a desire for self-development.
Our vision for you is that you emerge from the retreat renewed with greater agency, more self-accepting, more resourced and connected, letting your light shine.
Carolyn Burns, LMFT and Catherine Williams, MA, both seasoned retreat leaders, have paired up this Spring to offer an in-person retreat at the Women’s Center. Please see their bios below.

Due to the high transmissibility of the Omicron variant, we will be observing some safety protocols as necessary. We do require that participants be fully vaccinated and provide proof of vaccination.
*** Please note that you get the greatest benefit from a retreat when you can be intentional about using your time. If you sleep at home, please make arrangements so that other people have no expectations of you to tend them or household duties. Plan to arrive at the center on time in the morning and keep your commitment to attend all the sections of the retreat. You will be an important member of the community we create the whole weekend.
