Wholehearted Living Ladies

Picture
On the last Tuesday of every month,
January through October

7:15 - 9:00 pm

PLEASE NOTE: Maximum size for this group has been reached and the group is now closed to new participants

A group of women that supports each other in our own journeys to live wholehearted lives, to find spiritual groundedness, and to be our best, most authentic selves

In this group, we focus on a variety of topics that will allow us to think new thoughts and discover new ways of being on this journey - as individuals and as a close-knit community. In 2018 we read and discussed Brene Brown’s Gifts of Imperfection, in which she lays out 10 guideposts for wholehearted living. In 2019, instead of picking one book to focus on, we will use a variety of texts and media - articles, chapters from books, pieces from authors/people who think about these big topics too, podcasts or video.

We will rotate who hosts every month. Each host selects a topic, text, opening and discussion questions and facilitates that month’s meetup and discussion. The host might also recommend a daily practice or action that people can use to deepen their involvement and reflection. At a minimum, participants print and read text, reflect on discussion questions and come to the meetup to discuss. Topics might include: journaling as meditation, mindfulness in daily life, authenticity, spiritual paths, compassion and connection, etc.

Our first meetups in January and February will be largely informational and set up the structure for the year. Please bring your resolutions, intentions, or goals for 2019 as well as an idea of what you hope to get out of our group. The group will close to new participants after the February meeting.
