Rachel Coalburn, MSW Clinical Student Intern

Rachel Coalburn, MSW Clinical Student Intern, is in her last year of graduate school at Widener University pursuing a dual master’s degree in Social Work and Human Sexuality with a concentration in trauma. Rachel holds a Bachelor of Arts in both Psychology and Women’s & Gender studies with a minor in Religious Studies from Florida International University.
Previous experience includes medical social work, case management, and co-facilitating group therapy with a focus on trauma. Rachel has been involved in the sexuality field for the past seven years in various capacities such as advocating, lobbying, resource building, organizing, and education. In the future she hopes to cater her work to include a specialization in nontraditional therapies as a way to provide a holistic approach for women and couples with issues of sexual health, domestic violence, and the LGBTQIA+ community.
Rachel is providing sliding scale counseling for women and couples (ages 18 and up) within her internship at the Women’s Center non-profit. She is supervised by Patricia Stout, LCSW-BACS of the Women's Center.
Virtual appointments are available with Rachel on Tuesdays through Thursdays.
Intake: Call Patricia for initial inquiry at (985) 892-8111.
