Pre-registration and intake are required. This is not a drop-in group.
Join us as we learn to use practices of mindfulness and loving acceptance for handling anxiety in our daily lives. We will use interactive meetings, activities, and small homework assignments to help us work together on fully embracing the present moment.
The text we'll be using is The Mindfulness & Acceptance Workbook for Anxiety by John P. Forsyth PhD & Georg H. Eifert, PhD.

Suggested cost: $132 for the 8-week course.
Sliding scale $100 - $150 available. To register: Complete the contact form to indicate your interest in joining the group and Carolyn will contact you for intake. Intake is required - this is not a drop-in group. A minimum of 6 must register in order for the group to be held.

About Carolyn Burns, LMFT
As a mindfulness practitioner, Carolyn brings her years of experience working with emotional regulation and managing the nervous system’s distress signals to the psycho-educational experience. She believes in a mind/body practice approach to help people viscerally develop skills to support healthy functioning. She has been in private practice for 20 years.
