Anitra Senegal
Director
Anitra Senegal is the Director of the Women's Center for Healing & Transformation. She is a highly experienced education professional with over twenty years' experience in education/training, community boards, and non-profit organizations. She has spent most of her career in the non-profit sector, gaining experiences in Volunteer Management, Fund Development, and Training.
A Slidell native and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette alumnus, Anitra is engaged in various community organizations. She is a member of the Nancy Marsiglia Institute of Justice Inaugural Alumni Association, a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.; American Heart Association Certified trainer and Secretary to the Board of Directors for the Mt. Olive Run to Feed the Hungry. She is a member of the International Society of Female Professionals and a former member of the Junior League of Lafayette and the Lafayette Commission on the Needs of Women.
A firm believer in the power of positive thinking, Anitra is a powerful force in the workplace. She uses her positive attitude and tireless energy to encourage others to work hard and succeed. Her personal mantra is a quote from Leo Buscaglia "Your talent is God's gift to you. What you do with it is your gift back to God." Anitra is inspired daily by her husband Kevin, and son Levi. In her free time, she likes to watch a good mystery movie and experiment with new recipes.

Anitra joins Patricia Stout in providing direction for the Women's Center. After serving as Volunteer Executive Director since the Center opened in 2013, Patricia now transitions to the role of Founding Director, while remaining actively engaged in maintaining the Center's vision and advancing its mission.

Patricia Stout, MSW, LCSW-BACS is a holistic social worker dedicated to wellness, emotional intelligence and consciousness-raising with individuals, families, groups, and communities. She offers group holistic psychotherapy for women along with workshops, meditation classes, and retreats. Patricia supervises interns for the Women's Center, serves on the Program Committee and contributes to social justice initiatives.
