Saturday, September 29
5:00 - 6:00 pm

Part of 100,000 Poets for Change - a day of reading and fun!

Be kind to your mind!  Read a Poem to a Child (be it mild or kinda wild). Poems for kids, by kids and from kids!

All kids are welcome when accompanied by an adult.  Free and open to the public.
Held on the lawn of the Women's Center (side yard). Bring a blanket or chair.

Hosted by LeAnn Pinniger Magee and poet Eliana Gradishar. To read, or for questions, please contact LeAnn at (985) 205-2261.

Click here for info about Her Voice! - another 100,000 Poets for Change event for adults and young adults in the evening.

“This seems to be an important year to highlight the significance of children in the world. We are increasingly aware of their fragility. It is time to take a moment in this busy, crazy life we live, and share something we cherish. Poetry is our gift.”
- Michael Rothenberg, founder, 100,000 Poets for Change
