Exploring the Mysteries of Divination, Archetypes & Symbols

Monday evenings
6:30 - 8:30 pm Central
January 16 - March 20, 2023
(no class on February 20)
PLEASE NOTE: THIS GROUP IS NOW UNDERWAY AND NO LONGER OPEN TO NEW PARTICIPANTS
An 8-week course on Zoom facilitated by Rev. Dr. Mary F. Gelfand
Join us for an exploration of different systems of divination, a study of significant archetypes, and a dip into the pool of Medieval European symbolism. Our primary tool for looking at archetypes and symbols will be the Rider Waite Smith Tarot deck, which is one of the oldest and most respected decks. We will touch on numerology and the symbolism of the Elements of Life. The Medieval concept of the royal court is among the archetypes we will work with.
Working on Zoom, we will gather weekly for 2 hours. Each student will need their own copy of the Rider Waite Smith Tarot deck, which is readily available on Amazon and at other locations.
This study group will be open to men as well as women..
The suggested cost is $80 for the 8-week course. Other pay options are available (sliding scale $65-$95).
