Gain a better understanding of your emotions

Emotions are astonishing, powerful, healing, and humorous. If we trust, honor and understand their language, they can take care of us!

Emotions are brilliant messengers that contain energy and information which we all need to create a meaningful and conscious life. Can we use emotions in ways that work? Does a skill set exist to help us understand them and become friends?

Join Irina on an exploration of emotions - understanding, befriending, and skillfully working with them.

While not a substitute for group psychotherapy or individual mental health treatment, this free supportive group will allow for facilitated sharing to lessen burdens and increase resiliency. Referral to other resources is available.

The group will close to new participants after the first introductory session so the group members can develop a deeper sense of confidentiality and intimacy.

This group is for women only. If you know a man who would benefit from a group like this, NAMI offers peer to peer support and groups for family members of those with mental health issues.

This group is now underway and has been closed to new participants. If interested in being placed on a waiting list to be notified when a new group forms, email us here:info@womenscenterforhealing.org.
